The Le Glazik brand is available to its Parisian customers and lovers of durable products in a historic boutique in Paris: A L'O - 1905, now located at 92 rue de Turenne, 75003, PARIS.
A L'O - 1905 stands for the boutique's original name A L'OUVRIER, founded in 1905 on Boulevard de la Villette. It is now the oldest store in Paris specializing in workwear.
This Parisian institution relocated in 2022 to the Marais district to offer a broader selection of collections from the four brands it carries, including Le Glazik.
The historical and authentic Breton sailor clothing fits perfectly within the universe of this iconic French workwear specialist, bringing a touch of the seaside to the heart of Paris!
A reference brand known for the vareuse, peacoat, kabig, and canvas pants, Le Glazik’s iconic products are available, along with a seasonal selection including shirts, sweaters, capris, and more.
A L'Ouvrier is a boutique with a rich history:
Founded by a merchant in a working-class area of Paris (Boulevard de la Villette), the store strategically positioned itself in 1905, right across from a station on the newly built elevated metro line: Line 2.
Its founder, Henri Honnet, began advertising as early as 1906 with postcards featuring photos of his store. His advertisement, the large "A L'Ouvrier" sign visible from the elevated metro, and the catchy name quickly made the boutique famous.
Manufacturing limited runs of certain unique models, the store, in response to growing demand, also became a retailer of several family-owned French workwear brands known for their high quality.
Always focused on the quality and durability of products, the store grew, becoming a must-visit address for artisans and eventually the official supplier for several renowned Parisian institutions.
After several relocations, the boutique, which has never stopped serving its loyal customers, settled in the heart of Paris in the Marais district.
The location at 92 rue de Turenne, on the corner of 1 rue Commines, was once occupied by a watchmaking factory. What better place for a historic boutique than a historic site!
In this space, blending historical craftsmanship, modernity, and authenticity, Le Glazik brings a bit of Brittany to Paris.
