Le Glazik is a manufacturer and not just a brand. The family firm has been specialising in marine clothing in Quimper since 1928 and offers its iconic products made in France.
It was in 1928 that Le Glazik was born in Quimper. The idea was born in the mind of a cloth representative who associates with his army friend who was a tailor. From the very beginning the aim was to manufacture quality clothing for sailors in an industrial way, something that did not exist in 1928.
The authentic Breton caban has been present in the landscape of Brittany for centuries. It has evolved during its long life to arrive in the form we know it today. Caban of the French navy, coat of the army or of the professionals, it was used and is still used as working clothes.
